FLIGHTS TO THE MALDIVES ARE NOW OPERATED BY 25 DIFFERENT AIRLINES.
There are a total of 25 airlines that are now operating flights to the Maldives, according to statistics that were just made public by the Tourism Ministry in their most recent tourism bulletin. This includes four airlines that perform chartered flights in addition to the 21 airlines that conduct scheduled flights.
The report states that out of the total of 25 airlines that fly to Maldives, seven of them are European carriers. In this regard, Aeroflot, Edelweiss, Neos, Eurowings Discover, and Turkish Airlines are the airlines that conduct regularly scheduled flights to the Maldives. Air Astana and Lot Polish Airlines are the airlines that offer chartered flights to the country.
In addition, Middle Eastern Airlines operates as a hub for six different airlines that fly to the Maldives. All of these airlines offer regularly scheduled services to the Maldives: Emirates, Etihad, Fly Dubai, Gulf Air, Qatar Airways, and Saudia.
There are three airlines based in India that provide service to the Maldives. Air India and Indigo both ran regularly scheduled flights to the Maldives, while Air Vistara operated chartered aircraft to get there.
Additional airlines that operate regularly scheduled services to the Maldives include Air Asia, Air Asia Thailand, Air Seychelles, Bangkok Airways, Singapore Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines, and Maldivian Airlines. Last but not least, US-Bangla Airlines offers chartered services to and from the Maldives.
